| Why can't I do my complete design on-line? | We looked into this, but decided a little personal contact with our customers (approving proof etc), would guarantee an accurate stamp and a more satisfied customer. |
| Will your stamps work on plastic? | Unfortunately, no. They are permanent, but need a paper/card base to stamp onto. As long as the surface is absorbant (paper, card, envelopes, jiffy bags etc), it will work fine. |
| How good is my proof? | The proof you'll receive via email (or fax if you prefer) is taken from the master used to create your stamp, so your proof will be as accurate as possible. |
| Refunds and change of mind. | If, after ordering, but before approving your proof, you change your mind about a stamp, we will refund all monies paid to us. After you have approved your proof, we will have manufactured your stamp and therefore cannot make refunds except in the case of manufacturing defects. |
| Are you VAT registered? | Yes - you'll receive a full VAT invoice with your goods |
| Can you prduce variable data stamps (Eg date stamps)? | No. Our stamps are produced from solid rubber blanks and cannot be set-up to allow for variable print. |
| Do I need a PayPal account to make a payment by credit card? | No - the service allows you to make a one-off payment without setting up any accounts or passwords. We use it because it's secure and easy for our customers. |
| Will you deliver overseas? | With pleasure, but at an additional cost. Please ask for details. |
| Which file formats can you work with? | Most Apple Mac formats: Quark, InDesign, Photoshop, Freehand, Illustrator Windows: Word, Publisher 2000, Photoshop. If you use an editing package such as CorelDraw, save your artwork as EPS or TIFF before sending it. If you're using a postscript-based package (Freehand/Illustrator), convert your fonts to outlines before sending. |
| What's the best way to send artwork? | EPS, BMP or 600dpi TIFF files tend to work best, or send us a Word file or a PDF at the correct size. Jpeg files tend to work less well. |
| Will you design it for me? | Yes of course. Just give us as detailed a description as you can and we'll do the work for you. For free. |
| Can I use clip art? | Whatever you want - we can use. Check it looks OK in greyscale. |
| Can I buy on account? | If you're a VAT registerd business, we'll be pleased to consider a limited credit facility. We ask private buyers to pay in advance. |
| Can I pay by cheque? | Of course. Please make cheques payable to 'Raw Design'. |
